Sales Policy – Friendly Version

Thank you so much for your interest in our animals! We truly appreciate every family who chooses to bring home one of our goats, and we want the entire process to be smooth and enjoyable. To help keep things clear for everyone, here are our farm’s policies.

Deposits & Payments
To reserve an available animal, we require a 50% non‑refundable deposit within 24 hours of choosing your goat. We currently accept cash, PayPal, or Venmo. The remaining balance is due at pickup. If payment isn’t completed by the agreed‑upon pickup date, any previous payments will be forfeited. We appreciate your understanding, as this helps us manage our reservations fairly.

Kid Care & Pickup
All of our kids are bottle‑raised and may also begin coccidia prevention if needed. Because they are bottle babies, most kids are ready for pickup around two weeks of age at our discretion. If you’re new to bottle feeding, we’re happy to arrange pickup after six weeks to ensure you feel comfortable.
Please make sure animals are picked up on the agreed-upon date—missing this date may result in forfeiting the sale and any deposits.

Companionship
Goats are herd animals and thrive with companions. For their wellbeing, we prefer that kids go in pairs unless you already have goats of a similar age. We do not sell single goats to homes without existing goats.

Wethers‑to‑Be
If you’re purchasing a buckling who will be wethered, we ask that the procedure be done no earlier than 12 weeks of age (14–16 weeks is ideal). Any wethering expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. You’re welcome to bring the buckling back to us for wethering at no charge if you prefer.

Health & Registration
All kids will be disbudded unless naturally polled. Registered kids will be tattooed before leaving and will come with either signed registration paperwork or the appropriate ADGA submission form.

Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation at any time; if this happens, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your deposit to another animal.
If a buyer chooses not to continue with a purchase after placing a deposit, please note that deposits are non‑refundable.

Additional Details
We cannot guarantee the adult height of any animal.
Buyers are responsible for any health certificates, shipping arrangements, shipping costs, and crates. Delivery is available—up to 100 miles from our farm—at a rate of $2.00 per mile, paid prior to travel.
We also reserve the right to retain any animal from our farm at any time.
